We wanted to remind you of our strategic overlap with the Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC) Conference. To support cross-pollination of our communities, we are offering a $200 discount for the TBLC Conference.

The TBLC Conference is May 2-6, 2026, at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada!

Please note that we are planning a cross-over day on Wednesday, May 6. This will include complementary activities (e.g., “TBL 101” workshop in the morning and joint TBL-SciTS panel discussion during lunch). At the end of the day, the SciTS opening reception is planning affinity groups for TBLC and INSciTS members who are interested in similar topics (e.g., methods to improve collaborating learning).

Overall, it would be wonderful to have more INSciTS participation at the TBLC Conference. These organizations are both serving important stakeholder groups, all motivated to improve learning and performance for teams.
